Teaching Tip
The Tape Slide
Submitted by Marty Findley, Sarah Moore Greene Elementary, Knoxville, Tennessee

Here's a safe and easy way for students to share their discoveries in the field: carry along a dispenser of 2" wide clear packaging tape and a field microscope from the Carolina™ Microscopic Discovery Kit. When students want to view a specimen under the microscope, they just mount the specimen between 2 pieces of tape and view it immediately. [Sounds like a great way to capture the elusive teachable moment.--Ed.]
