Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing DNA Model Kit This Carolina product met all of my expectations and then some. The model, when completed, is well-constructed and is very simple to put together (with some rudimentary knowledge of DNA structure). If you are looking for a 3-dimensional model of DNA, look no further than Carolina's DNA Model Kit A.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorites I have been using this model for many years. It is perfect to help introduce the structure of DNA. I have enough for each student to build one as a simple class activity. I do this as a good break from notes/lecture after introducing DNA's basic structure. Then I have all the students connect their models to make one long DNA strand (which many students want to take pictures with). After the activity I leave the model in a conspicuous place in the classroom so students can look back at it and ask question to reinforce what is learned in later lessons. For its simplicity and the price this is a fantastic educational and fun model. It is one of my favorites
