Fruit Fly Galore We needed Fruit Flies for my son's science project. Well of course he was procrastinating and we needed fruit flies in a hurry. We did not have time to let them naturally occur in our home and it was getting colder outside. We ordered only three vials and let me tell you. We had plenty. Then after about a week, My goodness we had a bunch more. Anyway, we were basically ready to start our experiment as soon as we got the shipment. We did not have to wait. December 13, 2014
Simple to use I am a student and I used these for my science fair project for school. The fruit flies were all alive when they came in the mail and the vial allows them to breathe without letting them escape. I would recommend this product to students and professonials alike. December 11, 2014
Always reliable I have been ordering D. melanogaster cultures from Carolina for 20 years. The cultures always arrive in a timely manner and are exactly what I need. When asked to pack the flies for very cold weather, they always do (important when ordering in the winter and needing the flies to arrive alive). December 2, 2014
abundant larva I ordered this for a senior project and it is just what my student needs. There are plenty of larva with a short turn around period for life cycle. Great for in class experiments. November 20, 2014
