Overview

These flexible dual-agar paddles each contain microbe-specific media enclosed in a sterile vial. Identify and quantify microbes in air, soil, and water or on any surface. BioPaddles™ do not require any other testing equipment—only a magnifier and a 35° C warm place (or incubator) to incubate. BioPaddle™ products include access to the free LaMotte® BioPaddle™ Colony Identification App for comparison of "unknown" microbe growth on the BioPaddle™ to a library of photos. Each box includes 10 two-sided paddles for 20 total testing surfaces. Use Nutrient Agar BioPaddle™ for routine culture of non-fastidious bacteria. Use Sabouraud Dextrose BioPaddle™ for selective cultivation of fungi (yeasts and molds). Use Tryptic Soy/Rose Bengal BioPaddle™ for the cultivation of a wide variety of microorganisms (TSA) and selective isolation of yeasts and molds (RB). Use Nutrient TTC/MacConkey BioPaddle™ for field sampling, cultivation, and enumeration of coliform bacteria total colony counts (TTC).
