Living Organism Care Information

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shows adaptation to xeric conditions, but not viable This is sold as "resurrection plant, living", but the reality is more that it is either "resurrection plant, dying" or just "resurrection plant, dead". In the Plant Care guide, Carolina explains that the plant is shipped without its root system and should be considered non-vialble, but this information is not provided in the summary. Dead or alive, the specimen does show the expected behavior of uncurling in moist conditions and recoiling in dry conditions. But don't expect photosynthesis or growth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun activity to use as introduction to plant unit. My students are amazed by these plants. When I give them what looks like a dead, dried up weed and tell them it will come back to life they respond with "no way". When our plants actually do turn green they think it is so cool. I love this activity not only because it is a great attention getter but I can use these plants year after year. Great value!!
