Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Lady Bugs I ordered 100 ladybugs for a summer project for my 6 year old granddaughter. I purchased a package of ladybugs at a local nursery 2 years ago and about half were dead so I was pleased when we received 100 live and healthy lady bugs by mail. We had a lot of fun learning about them and taking care of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality There were approximately 100 healthy lady bugs in this kit. We had them for about a week before releasing. We followed the included instructions and fed them rehydrated raisins. The 1st grade girls in my Daisy troop had a blast releasing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic birthday gift My 6 year old loved this gift. There were too many to count. The poster is big, with bold colors, and educational. We would take the habitat outside every morning and release each day. It took two weeks to release them all! I also knew I was getting ADULT ladybugs by reading other's reviews.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We were dissapointed in the ladybugs. WE thought we would get to see eggs hatch and the ladybugs grow. It was just 100 ladybugs. We really enjoyed the butterflies! We got to see the cocoons hatch. Would recomend butterflies but not ladybugs. May try praying mantis.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kids loved it! I purchased this kit to provide my students with some hands-on observation as we study how things grow this summer. They absolutely loved the ladybugs and spent a lot of time watching them and trying to count them all. Releasing the ladybugs into our class garden was a magical moment for everyone. The habitat is well made and I am impressed with how nice it looks. The poster and care instructions were clear. My only disappointment, is that the ladybugs I received were full-grown adults and I was expecting ladybugs in their larval stage of development. I realize that this may have been an incorrect expectation on my part. If so, other buyers just need to be aware that the children will not be able to observe any developmental changes in the ladybugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ladybugs were great!! we loved the lady bugs and learned so much about and from them. The day care children really enjoyed watching and releasing the lady bugs. Look forward to doing it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not much to see I mistakenly thought we were getting larva like other stores had and we got ladybugs. We did not get to see the change in the life cycle. I would order the larva kit from another company next year. All we did was watch lady bugs crawl around and die.
