Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good I love all the specimens in a jar together, it is very efficient and creates easy organization. The sponge was quite a waste of time, if you didn't know what it was, you would never guess. The specimens are well preserved and mostly in good shape (a couple of 4 legged sea stars and a few missing legs here and there on crayfish or grasshoppers). The jars have to be treated with care, the tops do not seal well or stay on and it is easy to have a spill. I also found the booklet good and bad. It is definitely only anatomy, no physiology at all. Some of the terms are over and above the level needed and could not be found without a microscope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissection specimens My students enjoyed seeing the different types of animals. They also got to practice skills for future classes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! What a great product! The specimens were a nice size and in pristine condition. Loved that they all came in a kit. The instructional booklet was all we needed to do the dissections. The instructions and diagrams were complete, useful, and a great help. We really didn't need any other material for diagramming and completing the dissections. The only thing I would have liked would have been some kind of label on the tiny jars for the sponge and the hydrozoa, so we could tell which was which. The safety directions were thorough and a great addition to our introductory to biology & dissection class.
