Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for high school dissection I had my honors students dissect the shark. They loved it. It is a complex dissection and I believe doing a dissection you should thoroughly examine and make connections with all of the organs. I felt my CP classes would not have gotten much out of the shark dissection because it would have been too overwhelming. My honors students spent 2 full days dissecting alone. Organs looked great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never disappointed I've used various sizes and injections of these sharks for 12 years and I've never been disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SAD If I bought a dress for $50.00 I would want it not ripped and stained. Their tails where cut practically off and splattered all over with Pink and Yellow dye. the dye was suppose to stay in the shark. Would love a REFUND or a NEW SHARK in BAG instead of liquid Bucket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Neat! Amazing, awe inspiring look at the design of a shark's reproductive system. Our specimen was really large and had 4 baby sharks as well as an additional 4 eggs. They are more expensive, but we only bought one pregnant shark to share. My students took the baby sharks home with plans to add them to a jar of isopropyl alcohol for long term preservation. Well worth the extra cost!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Featured pregnant anatomy is good. Our sharks were well stained and in particular the pregnant anatomical structures were in nice shape and presented well to the classroom. Overall, the exterior gross anatomy of the sharks was a bit beat-up, however. In a university Marine Science department where our students have good experience daily with the live animals of this size, they didn't present well and prompted many questions of "What happened to these sharks??" Also, the preservative is quite potent and we had to open doors and windows to ventilate vapors....in the winter in New England. I don't remember CaroSafe smelling so nasty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shark birthday party for 4 year old I know this sounds crazy, but my 3 year old loves sharks!!! We've been studying them for months, so of course he wanted a shark at his birthday party. I ordered this shark online and bought some different sea animals (whole fish, octopus etc...) and I dressed up like a scientist for his 4th birthday to do a "mad biologist" presentation. The kids LOVED it!!!! They felt the difference in the skin and we talked about exoskeletons(crabs, lobsters, crawfish), endoskeletons, bones vs. cartiledge... It was amazing! The kids (about 20 2-5 year olds) lasted 45 minutes! The shark was definitely the best part. I wish it's tail wasn't cut, but it was necessary for the preservation treatments. I'm not sure how I will top this one!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Review very oily, smelly, hard to dissect, and the tail is broken/bent in the package, but there are lots of great organs to see
