Only the finest available reagents are used in the preparation of
powdered tissue culture media. All media are highlt hygroscopic and must be stored in airtight containers. Once the bottle has been opened, the remaining contents should be protected from atmospheric moisture.
Note: Powdered media do not contain sucrose or agar.Tubed Media are made with TC agar and dispensed in 25x150-mm tubes made of borosilicate glass. Tubed media are shipped not slanted. If slants are desired, heat the tubes of media in a hot water bath until the media melts; then let the tubes of media cool.
