For 32 students working in groups of 4. Students analyze photosynthetic pigments with thin-layer chromatography and explore the process of photosynthesis. Working with experiments they design and conduct, students test factors that limit the light reaction of photosynthesis using DPIP (2,6-dichloroindophenol) as an indicator.
