A computer link and powerful datalogger combined, the Xplorer offers state-of-the-art equipment for hands-on science. Students can plug in a sensor, press the start button, and begin collecting data immediately. When directly connected to classroom computers, students collect real-time data and see it displayed instantly. Students use the Xplorer to collect data at their desk, lab station, or in the field and then easily download to a computer for further analysis. Data can also be collected from multiple locations using different Xplorers. Synchronizing the Xplorers is as simple as connecting them to the same computer before you begin downloading information. The data from all Xplorers is automatically time-stamped and seamlessly merged upon downloading. Sensors can be switched multiple times in the same data set.
