This system provides everything you need to teach fuel-cell technology, the clean energy source of the 21st century. The system uses a solar cell to electrolyze water. The hydrogen produced by this reaction is stored and then mixed with oxygen from the air to produce water, heat, and electricity. In the final step, the electricity drives a fan. This system uses PEM (proton exchange membrane) technology, so all you need to operate the system are distilled water and sunlight. Everything is completely assembled on a sturdy base. The electrolyzer and fuel cell are both removable and can be disassembled for inspection by students.
