- Design and build unique individual habitats and observe organism interactions
- Determine organism relationships
- Analyze effects of personal actions on environmental relationships
Grades 9 - 12. Students work together to observe relationships between organisms. As they examine living creatures in simulated habitats, they study predator/prey, intra- and interspecies competition, and symbiotic relationships. Students identify the relationships as well as which organism(s) benefit from the relationship. They design experiments to alter habitat conditions and observe any changes that occur in organism relationships.
