Grades 3-6. Consists of 5 activities. At last, an ecology kit that works equally well for rural and urban schools. Students are introduced to biological sampling techniques and mapping as they survey their schoolyard's ecosystem.
Based on the results of their survey, they select their favorite part of the schoolyard and then write about it in the concluding activity.
