Grade 2. Students investigate length, capacity, weight (mass), perimeter, area, time, temperature, and money.

They use measurement instruments and materials such as thermometers, containers, tape measures, rulers, unit strips, clocks, calendars, and money sets to develop an understanding of measurement systems.
