This system is designed for quality and reliability. The 8-V power supply with on/off toggle switch and LED "on" indicator light can run 2 gels (1 per gel chamber) in 18 to 23 hours for excellent, next day results. The gel chambers are made of resiliant acrylic and have pure platinum electrodes. Each gel chamber comes with a 5.7 x 7.5-cm casting tray and a 6-well comb. One roll of masking tape is included. This system should not be used for electrophoresis of dyes.
