Introduce students to asexual and sexual reproduction, basics of chromosome structure, karyotyping, & genetic disorders. Students explore asexual reproduction in live specimens along with prepared microscope slides and self-study cards. They manipulate magnetic chromosome replicas to discover chromosome structure and how chromosomes are arranged in human karyotype.
