Sarracenia. These passive pitfall plants do not move to capture prey. Insects are lured into the plant's trumpet-shaped leaves with nectar; once inside, they find it almost impossible to escape. A mature plant can reach 3 ft H. Usually found in damp, swampy locations. Two species available: Sarracenia rubra (red) and Sarracenia flava (yellow). Not for export.
