As the pH of the medium falls, an indicator changes color. The rate at which the medium changes color is correlated with the student’s susceptibility to cavities. Requires 4 days from setup to completion. A 37° C incubator is also required. The BioKit® is sufficient for 30 tests. The Demonstration Kit is sufficient for 10 tests.
