K'NEX Simple and Complex Machines Set
Grades 3-8.
Use this set to help your class understand concepts such as force, resistance, work, mechanical advantage, and more. Students construct up to 60 models of the 5 simple machines (lever, pulley, inclined plane, gear, and wheel/axle).
The final activity lets students build a 5-foot-tall Big Ball Factory. Materials are sufficient for 10 groups of 3 to 4 students. Teacher's guide includes 57 extensive lesson plans.
