This kit contains four activities. The first three activities introduce students to simple machines and how they work. The fourth and final activity lets students design their own experiment to determine how effort distance affects the effectiveness of a class 2 lever. The experiments are: Activity 1: Levers; Activity 2: Inclined Planes: Activity 3, Pulleys: Activity 4: Class 2 Lever Investigation.
