For 25 students. A set of 9 stages in the pine life cycle: staminate cone, pollen, ovulate cone at pollination time, ovulate cone of first winter, ovulate cone of second summer, mature ovulate cone, seed, seedling, and twig with needles. The set contains 25 specimens of each stage in separate, labeled jars, for a total of 9 jars. The mature ovulate cone and the seed are naturally air dried with no heat or preservatives and shipped dry. All other stages are preserved in FAA and shipped in Carosafe®™. Each set is packed in a labeled container with information sheets.
