In this activity, students are able to see how producers and consumers coexist in a closed system. Students will describe how the Daphnia and algae are able to survive in the mini ecosystem. Students will also be able to observe the behavior and anatomy of Daphnia. This activity supports 3-dimensional learning and builds toward the following:
