Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Creatures I bought a three-pack of adult green anoles. I was thrilled with the feisty specimens I received. They are active and engaging, and appear very healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All arrived healthy and happy This worked out pretty well. I selected an order date for arrival (so I could plan and get habitat ready) Anoles arrived on time in good condition, healthy and alert. I ordered 3 accounting for possible mortality (thinking a would end up with a pair which would be ideal) and then I was sent an extra one for the exact same reason! So now we have 4! It's all OK, my son is enjoying them, they are eating well and adapting to their new home. Way better than dealing with an expensive pet store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lizards in poor health I placed an order for 6 mature female green anoles. I received 7, but 3 were emaciated and another two were quit thin. Only 2 appeared to be in good health. Upon arrival I presented the emaciated lizards with live crickets and they immediately ate the insects. My guess is that the emaciated lizards had not eaten for several days (possibly a few weeks). I am concerned that the emaciated lizards will not survive. I do not believe the supplier provided proper care for the lizards after they were captured and held before shipment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good pet, only with proper care Green Anoles must have uva and uvb lighting each day to properly digest food, most reptiles bask and need this, If not they also get metabolic bone disease. Do yourself a favor and get a proper 20 gallon (or more) glass tank with bulb hood lid cover for your Anoles and a temperature/humidity gauge to put inside. They only drink water droplets so you must mist the cage with a spray bottle daily. Anoles eat fruit flies, house flies, crickets, small moths, waxworms, sometimes small amounts of peach baby food (in the wild they lick nectar from flowers as a treat) Do NOT mix these with Brown anoles, they are aggressive to each other. Keep one male to two-three female green anoles or fights break out. They like lots of plants to hide among and rarely go on the ground, they are quick and can escape easily if cover is off! Be warned these are wild caught and may have parasites which can make them ill or not live long. Can live a few years if properly cared for, look online for care info.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful reptiles for the classroom These green anoles were perfect for our reptile unit. First, second and third graders were all thrilled to observe them drinking, hunting, basking, and changing colors. They were also able to handle them gently with supervision. Many of these mature females have small red to pink dewlaps that they will flash at one another, especially when competing for food. They also head-bob sometimes to defend their food or a spot on a branch. Students enjoyed watching for these displays. We ordered six and received seven. The extra was very helpful since one anole died a few days after arriving. The last time I ordered six I also received seven, but lost one right away. All the anoles who made it past the first few days have been fine. It would be great to be able to order a single male anole. I'd love to have one male in my habitat along with the females, but don't have the ability to house more than one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality this is my second order of anoles this year, the lizards arrived in great shape on the date requested, the first order of 12 had one dead anole which was replaced for free with out any hassle, in fact they replaced the dead one with two live anoles, great folks to deal with
