Rated 2 out of 5 by from usually in fair condition, does not last long I've ordered Elodea from Carolina 6 times, in June, September, and February. Usually the plants are in a usable condition but quickly deteriorate within a few days (the leaves turn brown or clear and fall apart). I generally have to spend some time discarding dead plants upon arrival. One time, the bunch I bought was completely black, I called for a replacement, and they promptly sent me a healthy, completely green batch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should Not Be Shipped in Poor Condition I ordered this at a time when I knew it would not be robust due to lack of natural light. However, this is my time to study photosynthesis and this is an excellent plant to use in labs. I received it on Wednesday (I think) and by Friday it was slimy and in such poor condition I had to switch plans and labs to one that used spinach. I did keep it in water in an aquarium with light. I think it would be best not to sell it at all if it is in poor condition.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from usual summer very poor product As usual in the summer the Elodea is falling apart and almost black.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Elodea Made mistake of thinking 50 bunches, instead of 50 stands! Would have been s fabulous price, if bunches. BUT, good quality plant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product was timely. The Elodea specimens survive as long as 3 weeks which helped in engaging actual photosynthetic presentations.
