Our bacteriophages are routinely and individually tested for quality and titer. The following phages are supplied as filtered (sterile) peptone broth suspensions of high relative infective titer (109 to 1011 plaque-forming particles/mL) in screw-cap vials. Each vial contains 5 mL; proven titer is noted on the label.

The following phages are supplied as filtered (sterile) peptone broth suspensions of high relative infective titer (109 to 1011 plaque-forming particles/mL) in screw-cap vials. Coliphage items #124521 through #124545 have been selected especially for fundamental exercises and research in genetic complementation (cis-trans tests) and recombination. Each strain (except item #124330, wild-type T4r+) is a rapid lysis plaque morphology mutant of T4 with the defect located within region rll (linkage group II) of the viral genome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bacteriophage (T4r+) Perfect for my 5th grader Science Fair Project! I will be buying from her again. I appreciate the booklet with excellent information that came along with it. Thank you so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great teaching tool; great price phiX is useful for demonstration of different plaque morphology as well as for phage typing experiments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as expected Worked very well for a bacteriophage laboratory. Used large petri dishes with multiple streaks of bacterial species to show conjugation. Product worked well, stored at 4 degrees C for about 2 months before using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for experimentation It worked in just the way I needed it to and got the experiment to work. You won't find many other places with ssDNA phages, so the diversity was appreciated. Just note that I only got it to work on E. coli C. Nothing showed up for B or K-12.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for experimentation Used it for a science fair project and it turned out great. No contamination and the titer was accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always works as expected Every year the virus performs in the experiment as expected, producing plaques on a lawn of E. coli B. We will continue to use this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for Microbiology Lab This bacteriophage was very effective for our microbiology lab purposes of infecting E.coli and seeing plaques. Will definitely continue to order this product in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from did not produce plaques on E. coli C the lab to compare the two phages did not work as planned. The t4 phages worked, but the phi phage didn't.
