Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow that's a lot of shrimp! Took a little longer than advertised to hatch (using a heater, aerator stone, etc.), but when they did, oh man. I used 1/8 a teaspoon of eggs in 3 liters and the whole volume squirmed with ~50 to 100 shrimp per milliliter! The container of dry eggs holds ~ 2 tablespoons! Our children's science museum has shrimp for years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buckets of shrimpy fun for everyone My biology students bread beta fish in our classroom and fed our new born fry the newly hatched brine shrimp. The hatch quality with every batch was very good. Directions were so easy 9th graders could follow them. Our little betas grew strong and beautiful and were sold through our PAWS club for $1 each to support local animal shelters. Everyone but the shrimps lived happily ever after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hatching success. I tried to buy brine shrimp eggs at several local pet stores with no luck. They only had small quantities and the kits included salt which I didn't need and were expensive. These eggs had a great hatching success and were reasonably priced. Our brine shrimp are huge and still going strong two months later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money, great quality. These brine shrimp eggs are great! Sure, they are not Grade A and the hatch rate is probably around 60-70% but it's more than enough with the amount of eggs provided. A small amount will go a long way. I recommend using spring water with 2 tablespoons of non-iodized salt (kosher salt, canning salt, rock salt, etc.) per liter with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda per liter (in order to increase the pH of the water). To raise these shrimp to adulthood (much cheaper than buying them as adults), feed them a yeast diet supplemented with a green-water diet. They are very easy to raise under normal room temperature (70°F). The only reason I rated this product as incomplete is because Carolina only provides hatching instructions on these shrimp. Good luck and happy raising!
