Grades 3-5. What do bees have to do with plant growth and development? This group of interactive whiteboard activities for the STC™ unit, Plant Growth and Development, provides students with an opportunity to label a bee, which is responsible for transferring pollen from plant to plant. Students place photos of the plant life cycle in order of growth and label the parts of the plant. A reading comprehension activity about George Washington Carver focuses on crop rotation. In a science notebook activity, students apply what they have learned about pollination, the functions of the bee, and how plants and animals help each other. Access for 1 teacher for 60 months.
