Grade 6–College. The Dino-Lite® AM4113T Handheld Digital Microscope is an extremely versatile tool for the classroom. Superior for viewing macro images of insects, plants, rocks, skin, coins, circuit boards, and more, it can also be used to view microscopic images from slides and pond water specimens. The microscope's camera can be handheld or mounted in one of the optional stands (items #597007 and #597008) for increased stability. The included software offers a wide range of tools to capture, view, and manipulate images and videos. The software also gives you the power to determine measurements on pictures taken plus the ability to calibrate measurements for greater accuracy.

The AM4113T comes with a superb 1.3-megapixel image sensor that views and captures highly detailed images, making it perfect for those who need comprehensive, quality software features. This model also features the unique MicroTouch (touch-sensitive static sensor) snapshot feature, which gives users the option of taking a picture right from the scope itself with minimal image blur—great for those moments when you need to take a picture but can't reach the computer. Included software supports Windows® XP and above, and Macintosh® OSX 10.4 and above.
