DNA Necklace Classroom Kit

Product Highlights
  • Teach DNA structure and extraction by creating a keepsake DNA necklace
  • Classroom Kit accommodates 32 students
  • Digital resources can be purchased separately from kit

Product Details
Beginning - Easy to perform; requires little or no prior knowledge.

Students extract DNA by lysing their cheek cell sample, then watch as wispy white strands of their own DNA precipitate out of a solution containing ethanol.
