Description

Teach students basic physics and engineering concepts using the Eisco® Garage Physics™ Kits. This line of kits was designed for elementary and middle school students interested in physics and engineering; however, many kits contain concepts so universal and important that high school students benefit from their use. With these kits students learn general concepts in physics and engineering —from the strength of arches to the usefulness of torque. Each kit contains pre-cut wooden pieces that resemble woodworking projects. Many kits provide a historical context for concept introduction, making real-world examples an integral part of instruction. Some kits contain a list of activities designed specifically for 4 skill levels: young children, elementary school, middle school, and high school. Many kits align with the Next Generation Science Standards*. All kits include enough materials for 1 group of students working as a team. A manual containing instructions for assembly (if required) and an outline of activities is also included in each kit.
