Ictalurus punctatus. A slender bluish-gray fish that is a good bottom scavenger. Popular aquaculture species. They are around 3 to 6" long (including the tail fin) when shipped. When young, these fish are very hardy in aquaria maintained at controlled room temperatures. As they mature, they should be moved to a pond or aquaculture setup that is at least 200 gallons. They do not ship well during hot weather. Pack of 3. Note: Should not be shipped over a weekend. Carolina recommends that you request your order to arrive on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (or even a Saturday) to avoid weekend shipping.
