Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extra fish and all are still living Bought this over a month ago and I received 14 fish. All are still living and thriving. At least one has given birth and I managed to save 10 fry from the other fish.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from someone can't count I was very disappointed in the size of the fish and they were very undernourished. I was hoping for some females that were ready to give birth and they appear to be about half grown. I only received 11 fish and one of them was dead and looked like a skeleton, I have ordered fish on several occasions and always received extras, in case of the normal loss. The next morning 2 more had died as per your instructions, I did not feed them the day they arrived and I think they starved. I am getting the remaining fish in shape, maybe they will reproduce.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fish survive in ecocolumns for weeks! The fish are still alive after a couple weeks in ecocolumns in a room that changes 10 degrees celcius a day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Health failed quickly The Gambusia started out fine, the majority arrived healthy. There were 3 very thin ones included that died by the next day. The males began dying first and I am down to 1 male now. Others would die overnight for no apparent reason. This is all in an already established tank with proper filtration, aeration, water changes, and water quality monitoring. I've lost close to half of the original 24. The same thing happened over 2 years ago when I tried these the first time; all died but four females who have remained in the tank since then and three of the four died after being combined with the new ones. I hate to give a bad review, but we're not going to have luck with a breeding population at this point. I've raised several types of fish but have had no luck with this species.
