Product: (in stock)

Description

Grades 9-12. Set against the backdrop of an arson investigation, this guided investigation lets students determine the molecular mass of 2 unknown liquids and identify which is the accelerant from a list of molecular weights. This experiment combines the rigor of a common laboratory technique with the interest of a forensic investigation. Materials are sufficient for 32 students working in pairs.
