Carolina Biological Supply Company Announces New Campaign, The Biotech Labs That Launch Careers

Carolina and its partners seek to help educators prepare their students for careers in biotech.

BURLINGTON, NC, Aug. 31, 2020 —Carolina Biological Supply Company is pleased to announce the beginning of a year-long campaign to help high school teachers, university instructors, and lab managers prepare their students to launch careers in biotech. To meet the campaign’s goal, Carolina and its partners will provide current, impactful content and product announcements to teachers, instructors, and lab managers nationwide.

This campaign aligns with Carolina’s ongoing efforts to foster classroom success by providing science educators with high-quality biology and biotech products, access to outstanding teaching materials, and exemplary customer service. Carolina embraces its role as a creator and developer of products and lab investigations that build students’ skills and are fundamental to launching biotech careers.

Carolina and its partners have initiated this campaign because:

• Preparing students for biotech careers is a highly relevant, important, and contemporary task, particularly in the age of COVID-19, encompassing cutting-edge topics such as genetics, forensics, and biological science.
• High school and university educators need laboratory investigations that address complex biotech areas of inquiry, including the research and development of therapeutics and vaccines. These investigations are vital in preparing students for further study and careers.
• Carolina is uniquely positioned with industry and non-profit partners to help educators prepare their students for biotech careers by continually creating and recreating educational materials and products aligned with changing instructional and occupational needs.
