Rated 4 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT Activity...except for the molds I love this activity. It is so engaging and students really get into it. However, the molds to create the mountain range need to be silicone. The hard plastic molds are impossible to work with and make the lab prep a real chore. I have yet to get one mountain range out of a mold intact and I have been doing this activity for several years. I use cooking spray, hot water...I would be thrilled if new molds were offered.
