Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right! These were perfect for my book group meeting, where we discussed Lab Girl, by Hope Jahren. They were sterile, so all I had to do was pour in lemon jello & add some chia seeds for a small, book-themed snack. Read this book! Very inspiring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from small petri dishes for pond studies Perfect for use by elementary students to contain pond macro-invertebrates. Fit well on the stage of "magiscopes" as students examined the organisms with 20x magnification.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I volunteer at a nature center and these smaller petri dishes will really work better for the students that are wanting to look at aquatic insects under the microscope. I have used them before and really like the smaller size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from great value I'm making a line of kaleidoscopes to sell at craft fairs this summer and fall. The petri dishes make eligant and simple-to-use object chambers for my less-expensive scopes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never fails I've been buying these petri dishes for my microbiology unit for awhile - if you get the small ones, they are the best price for what you get. Because they are smaller, they are easy to work with, and they get reused a lot in my other labs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Product was fantastic! Couldn't complain. I only wish the shipping had been a teeny bit faster. It took over a week for my order to even be shipped, and I only ordered one item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small Petri Dishes Useful for Science Experiments I bought the 60 mm petri dishes for a science experiment and for storing bones from owl pellets. I thought I had ordered a larger size for the owl pellets but I didn't realize the lids did not seal so they were not ideal for storing the bones. This size was useful for the science experiments and I would recommend them for growing bacteria. They were a great a value.
