These enclosures provide conditions appropriate for working with agents that require biosafety level 1, 2, or 3 containment and antineoplastic drug preparation. They protect the user, the product, and the laboratory environment. During operation, room air is drawn into the inlet grille of the cabinet, recirculated through the workspace, and ultimately discharged once it passes through the HEPA filter.
