Students examine the similarities and differences of the animals, then they consider how the specimens' anatomical differences make them well suited for their specific habitats and roles in the environment. Designed for a class of 32 students working in groups of 4 over 2 to 3 class periods. Each group dissects 1 specimen and examines the specimens of other groups.
