The SmartDrop™ series of nano spectrophotometers provides quick and easy quantification of small samples. By utilizing a small sample volume, SmartDrop™ spectrophotometers eliminate the need for dilutions, providing more accurate results. A full-color, 7" touch screen with icon-driven menus and preprogrammed protocols gets users up and running quickly. No external computer is required. DNA, RNA, and protein concentrations along with purity numbers are displayed in a matter of seconds. The resulting data can be printed with the integrated printer, saved in the onboard memory, or exported via USB as an Excel® file.
SmartDrop™ L models (items #216204A and #216204B) are ideal for basic DNA/RNA/protein quantification with readings at 260 and 280 nm and can detect up to 2,500 ng/µL of dsDNA. SmartDrop™ X models (items #216205A and #216205B) perform full-spectrum absorbance scans from 200 to 800 nm and can detect up to 4,500 ng/µL of dsDNA. SmartDrop™ XF models (items #216206A and #216206B) feature the addition of a fluorometer, perform full-spectrum absorbance scans from 200 to 800 nm, and can detect up to 15,000 ng/µL of dsDNA.
