Rated 5 out of 5 by from Owl Pellet Dissection I bought 50 of the large owl pellets for a 3rd grade field trip at our Science Center. They were what I was expecting, quick shipping, and just what I expected and hoped for. There were more than one animal skeleton found in each pellet which was great for the students to compare and contrast bones of the prey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always great quality products! I buy these pellets every year for our grade level. They are high quality, and easy for the students to identify the skeletons found inside. The students love this activity, and talk about what they learned from it for the rest of the school year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissappointed Teacher who uses these every year reports that the quality this year was not good. Much smaller and VERY tough. We may have to look for new vendor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product I bought these for a dissection with my class and although some of the pellets were a little smaller than I was expecting most groups found at least 1 skull and all the groups were able to find many bones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hands on learning! Our first grade used this as a culminating activity to one of our reading domains. We talked about the importance of food, shelter, and water. This was a great hands on activity for the children to see an owl's adaptation to digestion. We ordered the small owl pellets. I didn't realize they were much smaller than I had initially thought. We had a couple of pellets that had minimal bones and had to use another pellet to provide the full experience. I realize the company doesn't know what is in each pellet and some had many more bones than others. I recommend purchasing the larger pellet size, but I would definitely order owl pellets again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from big in size I bought these for my son to use as an example during a project presentation. They all had tiny skeletons inside and the pellets were large in size. His classroom was pleased.
