Michelson and Fabry-Pérot Interferometer

$4,305.00

Description

Advanced physics items are drop shipped. These products are built to order. Carolina does not hold stock. Please allow 90 days to receive your item from the time you place your order. This is the industry standard for this type of equipment.

High precision interferometer designed for advanced or college physics students to observe interference of monochromatic and white light in a thin film, to measure the wavelength of monochromatic light, and to observe multiple-beam interference. The included Michelson and Fabry-Pérot accessories feature high quality first surface mirrors and optically flat substrates. Each system consists of a group of fixed components that attaches to the unit's base and a moveable mirror that fits into a carriage driven by precision head screws. A reduction gearbox and readout allows accurate position determination.

The Michelson and Fabry-Pérot Interferometer is a general purpose precision interference instrument with interchangeable open construction optical arrangements for 2 interference systems. Includes instruction manual that contains sample activities and sample data. Use with various light sources, such as a laser, sodium lamp, or incandescent light (not supplied).
