Now students can raise their own baby praying mantis. Kit includes everything needed for a class of 30 students, including Chinese praying mantis egg case; fruit fly culture with wingless fruit flies (for feeding baby mantises); vials with foam plugs (to house the mantises until they reach 1-1/2 to 2"); cotton swabs (to provide water); reproducible student sheets; and teacher's manual with complete instructions, hands-on science activities, and directions for building a terrarium for larger mantids.
