A 1-year license to an engaging tutorial series that has students complete 16 virtual biology lessons at their own pace. In each activity, students respond to different questions and can only proceed if they answer correctly. The lessons included are Biomolecules, Cells and Organelles, Membranes and Transport, Chromosomes and Mitosis, Meiosis, Genetics and Patterns of Inheritance, DNA Basics, DNA Technology, Evolution, Classification, Bacteria and Viruses, Protists and Fungi, Plants, Animals—The Invertebrates, Animals—The Vertebrates, and Ecology. A test follows each lesson. You can easily track student progress through the Teacher Dashboard. You can also use the Course Builder to create a pre- or post-assessment based on the lessons you assign to your students.
Once you purchase the license, you will receive an e-mail with your log-in credentials within 24 hours. To begin, utilize the Teacher Dashboard and follow the steps to create a class. Then add your students and assign the lab activities to the class. You can then track the progress of each student as they advance through the exercises. If tracking student scores is not necessary, you can also simply create Wildcard Users. This is all explained on the Teacher Dashboard Quick Reference Sheet.
