The BBC Micro:bit is a pocket-sized programmable microcontroller designed to create a wide variety of projects, from robots to musical instrumentsthe possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Students can program the Micro:bit using Microsoft® MakeCode (block language), Java™, or Python™.
The device includes 25 red LED lights that are programmable. You can skip songs on a playlist, detect motion with an accelerometer, or determine direction with a built-in magnetometer. The Bluetooth® Low Energy connection helps you interact with other devices and the Internet. Two programmable buttons are included to control games or pause.
