Rated 5 out of 5 by from Visualizing a Mole My students often have difficulty imagining how much stuff is in a mole. They can complete conversions, and while they can read from a periodic table that one mole of aluminum should be 27 grams, they can't always imagine how much aluminum that is--and often assume it is much more than 27 grams of aluminum would look like! This set allows students to actually see how much substance is in one mole of four different elements. The accompanying lesson ideas are great, too.
