Like one of the reviewers stated you have to be patient when calibrating, but once you do it, it stays stable for a while. They are easy to use even by students who never had experience with them. July 11, 2012
Terrible Electrode Don't even waste your money or time with this device. It's absolutely horrible. The device drifts constantly, so badly that in order to get any type of accurate measurement you have to calibrate again before every measurement, which for a portable pH meter absolutely defeats the purpose! The biggest problem though is that the further you get away from a neutral solution the worse accuracy you get. I calibrated mine with a 7pH and 4 pH buffer and then took a reading at 10pH and got a value of 9.6. This value then drifted continuously in random directions. Unless you are happy with a +-1pH accuracy (I don't know how you could function that way, but maybe there are people out there that can) DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Spend a little more and get an EZDO meter for like 80 dollars that is so much better. February 15, 2012
Be patient during the calibration process. The meters are very touchy when calibrating but once they are calibrated they work effectively and consistently. Great product. January 25, 2012
