Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast Results! I just received my first shipment of algae food source. Due to dept of health restrictions in my state, I wasn't able to receive live algae cultures. Although I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, I am ultimately pleased. I poured the algae food source into an old dried container which had been dried for a while. What appeared to be dead algae (that wasn't washed out before storing) came to bloom within 24 hours. I'm happy with this product, and would recommend to anyone who wants to increase their greenwater production.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product This is a decent product. I wish there was an approximate concentration value on the bottle. It would be good to know so that when my students go to do dilutions they have a starting point. I also wish the latin name was included on the bottle as well. I know it is on the website but it would be easier for my students if it was right there. Other than that it is what you would want in a quart of algae. Great for feeding Daphnia.
