Prior Knowledge and Skills
Students should be familiar with the following skills or concepts:

  • Basic knowledge of demographic terms such as "birth rate," "death rate," "total fertility rate," "infant mortality rate," "life expectancy," and "population growth rate"
  • Basic understanding of the concept of carrying capacity
  • Simple data collection methods, including censuses and demographic factors
