Grades 9–12. Students explore the evidence of evolution through a variety of guided-inquiry activities. First, these investigations introduce modern technologies that aid in the classification of phylogenic relationships and explore the anatomical similarities between evolutionarily related organisms. Students then use their knowledge to design and conduct an experiment based on antibiotic resistance. Kit includes enough materials for at least 30 students working in groups.
